BABY SHOWER MARDI GRAS THEME

It's time to party for the baby shower - Mardi Gras style! - This festive party time makes a great theme for any baby shower since there are so many things you can do to tie in the holiday to the theme of the party. A few ideas are to place beads and mask decorations everywhere, including mardi gras confetti on the tables, star and mask cardboard cutouts for the walls, purple, green and yellow candy. Table settings can be in purple, green and yellow to tie in the theme as well as everyone signing in on a big mardi gras mask or star that can be presented to the mother-to-be to remember which friends and family attended the baby shower.

A great baby shower game to play is to have everyone write a "loving" message for the mother and father to be on cardboard cutout star and attach them to a mardi gras bead strand, presenting it to the mother to be by placing the necklace around her neck.
