Baby Shower Bucks: Thanks to Angela T's for an amazing baby shower idea: My sister and I have started a tradition of handing out baby or belly bucks for winning games, being the first to arrive, following the instructions on the invitation (bring invite, baby picture) etc. We customize the money to coordinate with the particular baby shower theme but play money can be used just as well. We have all the nice baby shower prizes displayed at a table. At the end of the games, we make them bid on the prizes. It can get very loud and competitive. BABY SHOWER IDEA OF THE MONTH - JUNE 2009
A cute idea is to make diaper favors by taking a square paper napkin, fold in half (into a triangle). Bring 2 long side together in the middle and the point up to meet the 2 long sides. Pin all 3 sides together at the center making a diaper. Melt some parafin wax and dip diaper. Place on wax paper to dry making sure to keep diaper open so candy can be placed in diaper when wax is dry. These are very cute and can be done to match the theme or colors of the shower.
