For those of you who enjoy the media and celebrity baby gossip, we have created this celebrity baby section for you which congratulates the Star Mommies and Daddies of this year and previous years. There is a new baby boom of celebrity babies that is written in the press lately. 2008 will be a big year for many celebrity babies to be welcomed to the world and you can get your celebrity baby fix from babyshower101! We will also update you on most popular baby names for 2008 and give you the most recent updates in baby celebrity status! Bonus baby shower story of the month - December 2008 - The students at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Arkansas hosted a baby shower for Jesus. First-grade teacher, Melissa Lewis, organized the baby shower to help her students prepare for Advent, the days just before Christmas marked with preparing for Jesus. More than 400 gifts were donated to the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.

Celebrity baby story of the month - November 2008 - Angie Harmon celebrated he baby shower at a friend's Los Angeles home. Thrity of her closest friends including Lori Loughlin, Amber Valletta and Holly Robinson Peete helped Angie and husband, Jason Sehorn who dropped in, celebrate her baby on the way. Gifts from Bel Bambini (LA store) were unisex because they're not sharing whether it's a boy or girl. Word is that candy was everywhere and guests ate cake from Sweet Lady Jane. Angie gave each guest a gift bag from L'Occitane.

Celebrity baby story of the month - October 2008 - Governor Sarah Palin received a "Baby-Shower-To-Go" for her daughter Bristol during her rally on Saturday, October 18th in Pennsylvania. The gifts were presented on behalf of Mama Mia, a cooperative of "Momtrepreneurs" who know what it's like to balance business with babies. Founder of Mama Mia, Suzanne Longacre, presented the gifts to Governor Palin.

Celebrity baby story of the month - September 2008 - Marisol Nichols, of the TV show 24, is expecting a baby girl. The beautiful 36-year old celebrated with 60 friends at her Fisher Price-sponsored baby shower. Guests including friends Mary Lynn Rajskub, also of 24 fame, and Erika Christensen attended the pretty in pink baby shower held at her Los Angeles home. Guests at BBQ catered by Hamburger Patty's and a big cake that spelled "Girl Baby," while baby shower games included estimating the size of Nichols's baby bump and the number of jelly beans in a big baby bottle.

Celebrity baby story of the month - August 2008 - Lisa Marie Presley, 40, and her husband, music producer Michael Lockwood, are expecting twins! Singer Pink hosted the baby shower at the Little Door in Los Angeles on August 2nd. Word is that Pink had stores donate gift bags and the expectant mommy received a Cruzin Cooler Electric Scooter and Skineez Skincarewear. Lisa Marie has a 19-year old daughter Dannielle and a 16-year-old son Benjamin from her first marriage.

Celebrity baby story of the month - July 2008 - Minnie Driver and about 40 guests gathered Saturday, June 21st, for a baby shower held at a friend's home in Malibu. The 38-year-old singer/actress is expecting her first baby in August (she has kept the father's name confidential). The house was decorated with pink and white flowers. Family and friends enjoyed finger sandwiches, basil lemonade and a special berry cake. Guests hand-painted onesies for the baby and signed advice notes in a keepsake book for the mommy-to-be.

Celebrity baby story of the month - June 2008 - Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves: On Saturday afternoon, June 14, close friends gathered for baby shower at the Malibu home of Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves. The couple's first child together is due in July. Matthew enjoyed the beach sun while Camilla, a 26-year-old Brazilian supermodel, greeted guests. The theme of her baby shower was simply blue and it was reported that all the gifts were wrapped in blue. It hasn't been formally announced, but all signs point to baby boy on the way!

Celebrity baby story of the month - May 2008 - Jamie Lynn's Baby Shower: Britney Spears returned home to attend her little sister Jamie Lynn's baby shower party at the family's Serenity mansion in Kentwood, Louisiana on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Britney wore pink all weekend to signify the coming of her new baby niece.

17-year old Jamie Lynn, the star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101," is expecting a baby girl in June. She and fiancé Casey Aldridge, 19, are reportedly engaged to be married soon. Britney and about 30 guests including their mom and Jamie's soon to be mother-in-law attended the baby shower. The baby shower menu was Southern style food, including a fried chicken and mac and cheese.

Jamie Lynn reportedly registered at Babies "R" Us. Items on her baby shower registry included a Baby Neptune Ocean Gym, car seat, ultrasound frame, Cookie Monster bath towel, and teething ring. Jamie Lynn and her family and friends sat in a circle as she opened all of the baby shower gifts, which included a camouflaged hunting gear onesie.

Celebrity baby story of the month - April 2008 - Jessica Alba's Baby Shower: Close friends and family gathered or an intimate baby shower at Ever After Teahouse in Studio City (Los Angeles), California. There were about 35 guests including Kim Kardashian, Rashida Jones, Jaime King and Jessica's sister, Jamie King, as well as plenty of security guards. Jessica wore an elegant black dress. The theme of the baby shower party was white and lavender with flowers. Balloons decorated the celebrity baby shower, which took place under a tent in the back area of the restaurant. Guests sat under umbrellas and enjoyed skewers of tiger shrimp, chicken, chocolate strawberries, and mini custard tarts and éclairs.

Gifts were mostly wrapped in pink and white. Jessica received high-end strollers, cradles, and baskets full of Dr. Seuss books, rattles and clothes. There was a giant white stuffed bunny and lots of flower bouquets. Clothes were mostly neutral colors like light yellow and light green, though she says she's having a girl. Jessica received the Bloom Fresco High Chair from a friend and, because she is decorating her nursery with organic products, she got several items from Soleil Moon Frye's eco-friendly store The Little Seed. Guests wrote their wishes for Jessica's baby in a baby shower guest book and received a recyclable turquoise tote bag from Tastybaby, an organic baby food company, filled with baby food, recipes and toys.

Celebrity baby story of the month - March 2008 - Denise Richards, who recently changed her name back dropping the name Sheen from former husband Charlie, is going to start in a new reality show of how to be a good parent. Ex-Father-In-Law, Martin Sheen and his son feel it is a big mistake as it is involving their children without their mature consent! I don't agree about this show and hope E! Entertainment stops the show before it goes on air as there is no reason to bring the children into the public eye like this!

Celebrity baby story of the month - February 2008 - Recently, Christina Aguilera told Ellen Degeneres about her son Max's circumcision where she stated that, "It was a very sweet experience. We had a lot of close friends come over and experience the bris with us. But we're such a non-conventional couple - we put penis balloons up everywhere!". December 18, 2008 - Congratulations to Angie Harmon and, Jason Sehorn, former NFL player, on the birth of their third daughter. Emery Hope Sehorn's two big sisters are Finley Faith (5) and Avery Grace (3).	December 13, 2008 - Naomi Watts and her fiancée Liev Schreiber welcomed home their second baby boy. Congrats! Samuel Kai Schreiber weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. Big brother is Alexander "Sasha" Pete, who's 16 months old.	December 11, 2008 - Congrats to Usher and his wife Tameka Foster on the arrival of their 2nd son. Naviyd Ely Raymond weighed 5 lbs., 13 oz. He joins Usher V (aka Cinco) who's 1 year old, and Tameka's two sons from a prior marriage.
November 20, 2008 - Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed home their first child, a baby boy. Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 oz and 20 ½ inches long. This boy is going to have some pipes!	November 2, 2008 - Congrats to Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie, on the birth of their second daughter, the actor said on his website Tuesday. Sunny Madeline has a big sister, Sadie Madison Sandler, who is 2 years old.	September 2008 - Congratulations to actress Joely Fisher and her husband, Chris Duddy, on the their adoption of a baby girl. Little Olivia Luna now has a wonderful family including 2 big sisters, True (2) and Skyler (7).
November 5 2008 - Congrats to "Eagle Eye" star Michelle Monaghan and her husband, Peter White on the birth of their first child, a daughter they named Willow Katherine. We wish them the very best!	October 26, 2008 - Guess who's a baby mama now? Congratulations to Amy Poehler and Will Arnett on the birth of their first child, a son they named Archie. He weighed 8 pounds 1 once at birth.	October 20, 2008 - Congratuations to Canadian actress Caroline Rhea on the birth to her first child with her longtime boyfriend, comedian Costaki Economopoulos. The couple's baby girl named Ava weighed eight pounds, 15 ounces.
October 21, 2008 - Congratulations to Billie Piper, star of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and her actor husband Laurence Fox on the birth of their baby boy. Winston James Fox, who weighed 6lb 11oz, was birthed by emergency after a 26-hour labor and emergency Caesarean. We wish Billie all the best and lots of rest.	October 19, 2008 - Congratulations to Natascha McElhone on the birth of her third child. The 36-year old star of Californication has not released any information about the baby. We know dad, Martin Kelly who died unexpectedly in May, is looking over Natascha, their two sons, Theo and Otis, and their new baby.	October 15, 2008 - A big congrats to Gillian Anderson of The "X-Files" and her boyfriend Mark Griffiths. Gillian gave birth to a baby boy named Felix Griffiths, who weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces. Felix has a big brother (Oscar, 1) and big sister (Piper, 13) from Gillian's previous marriage.
October 7, 2008 - Congratulations to Lisa Marie Presley and her husband, producer Michael Lockwood, on the birth of their fraternal twin girls. The baby girls weighed 5 lbs. 15 oz. and 5 lbs. 2 oz. There names have not yet been released. Twins run in the family (Elvis was a twin) and so does musical talent!	September 19, 2008 - A big congrats to Paul Thompson, Franz Ferdinand drummer, and his wife Esther on the birth of their second son. Big brother Georgie is 2. Word is the band played an acoustic set and singer Alex Kaspranos announced the good news to the crowd.	July 22, 2008 - A late congratulation to Marissa Jaret Winokur (from Hairspray and Dancing with the Stars) and her husband, Judah Miller on the birth of the baby boy, Zev Isaac Miller, delivered by Winoker's surrogate mother. We wish them the best!
September 18, 2008 - A big congrats to New York Yankee Johnny Damon and his wife Michelle on the birth of their second baby girl Danica, who weighed in at 6 lbs, 8 oz. Siblings are Devon Rose and fraternal twins Madelyn and Jackson from Johnny's first marriage.	September 16, 2008 - Congratulations to actor Mark Walberg and his wife Rhea Durhan on the arrival of their third child, a boy, who joins big brother Michael and sister Ella Rae. They have not announced their new baby's name. We respect their privacy and wish them the best.	August 26, 2008 - Congrats to American Gladiators host, former boxer and daughter of Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali and her husband Curtis Conway, former USC and pro football player, who welcomed home her first child, a son named Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr. What an athlete this boy is going to be!
September 6, 2008 - Congrats to Minnie Driver on her little baby boy, Henry Story Driver, who came to this world at 9lbs 12oz (ouch). I am sure Henry will be just as funny and beautiful as his mommy. Congrats Minnie!	July 8, 2008 - A late congrats to new parents Matthew McConaughey and his lovely girlfriend Camila Alves! They had a son, Levi who was 7lbs and 4 oz. who was born with his shirt off like his daddy usually has :) I am sure Levi will be beautiful as his parents!	June 20 2008 - A late congrats to Jamie Lynn Spears who had a little girl, Maddie Brianne, born at 7lbs 11oz. We wish Jamie all the support as we know it is hard to have a baby so young with so much paparazzi trying to get their story. You go girl!
August 24, 2008 - Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio and her longtime boyfriend Jamie Mazur welcomed home a baby girl, their first child together. Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born in Brazil and weighed 6.3 pounds. We wish then all the best.	August 21, 2008 - Congrats to Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale on their new baby boy, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale! He was born in Los Angeles at 81/2 lbs. You only know that Zuma will be a great rock star like his parents. This is the second baby as they also have a little boy named Kingston.	August 20, 2008 - Congratulations to The 36-year-old Latin sensation Ricky Martin who welcomed twin boys via a surrogate mother. The boys' names have not been released, but Ricky says he's ready to be a full-time dad.
August 20, 2008 - A big congrats to Matt Damon and Luciana who had another girl named Gia Zavala (great name). Gia already will have two sisters; Isabella 2 years old and Alexa, 10 years old, from another relationship. I am sure this baby will be just as talented as her parents!	August 10, 2008 - Congrats to Jason Lee and girlfriend Caren Alkac on their baby girl. We still don't know what the baby's name is as of yet but I am sure they will let everyone know when they are ready! I am sure this beauty will have a great sense of humor and be beautiful like her mommy. The baby has a brother from Jason Lee named Pilot Inspektor who is 4 years old.	August 8, 2008 - Congrats to former American Idol, Clay Aiken, and his friend, music producer Jaymes Foster, on the birth of their son Parker who weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. Parker, named after Aiken's mom, is destined to be in the music business.
July 12, 2008 - Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are parents again, this time twins! Their son Knox Léon weighed 5.3 lbs and daughter Vivienne Marcheline who weighed 5 lbs. A big congrats! You know these will be beautiful kids with parents like these!	July 1, 2008 - Congratulations to Hanson band member Isaac Hanson and his wife Nicole on the birth of their second baby boy, James Monroe Hanson, who weighed in at 8 lbs, 11 oz. Rock on!	June 30, 2008 - Congrats to Skater Tony Hawk and wife Lhotse welcomed home their first child together. Daughter Kadence Clover Hawk weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz and was 21 inches long. I bet their daughterwill be a skater gurl!
March 2, 2008 - Congrats to Jeri Ryan (from Star Trek:Voyager and Shark) and her husband, French chef Christophe Eme, on the birth of their baby girl who weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz.	April 2nd - Congrats to Vin Diesel, 40 and his model girlfriend Paloma Jimenez on their first child/daughter! I am sure she will grown up in the entertainment industry and be beautiful!	June 7, 2008 - Congrats to Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren on the birth of their baby girl. Jessica's dad said that Honor Marie, who was born by natural childbirth, looks just like mom!
April 13, 2008 - Congrats to Jodie Sweetin (from Full House) and her husband having celebrity baby girl Zoie who was delivered by C-section and arrived weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and 21 inches long.	March 19, 2008 - Cate Blanchett and her husband for the birth of their celebrity baby boy Ignatius Martin Upton (bet you can't say this 10 times fast). We with them much health and happiness!	March 17, 2008 - Congrats to Halle Barry and her beau Gabriel Aubry in having a celebrity baby girl named Nahla Ariela Aubry. We can only imagine how beautiful this baby will be and what she will grow up to being!
February 22, 2008 - Congrats to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony on their twins with no names released as of yet February 22nd in Long Island, NY. I am sure these twins will be very talented and great singers :)	February 21, 2008 - Welcome Vincent D'Onofrio's (from Law & Order and Full Metal Jacket) third child and baby boy named Luca who weighs in at 7lbs and 15 oz. He and wife Carin Van Der Donk should be very proud!	May 14, 2007 (late entry) - A big congrats to Jamie Pressley and her fiancé, DJ Eric Cubiche who welcomed their baby boy, Dezi (named after Desi Arnaz) last May as we forgot to report it :) I am sure the baby boy will grow up to be beautiful like his parents!
January 12, 2008 - We want to wish a congrats to Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman who had little son Max Liron. What a great name and I wonder if the baby will be musically inclined! I bet!	January 11, 2008 - Welcome to baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Madden who has new parents Nicole Richie and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden. Little Harlow weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. and will be musically inclined :)	January 1, 2008 - Gabrielle Reece and Laird Hamilton welcomed their son Brody Jo into the world of volleyball and surfing! I bet this baby will be water/beach sports coordinated!
