I am trying to work with a friend long distance to get my shower going and have realized that it should probably be themed with baby animals since the nursery and registry items are all animal themed.
Do any of you have any ideas on finger foods, decorations, and / or centerpieces that would work great?
This is my first baby and since my best friend, step-sister and I are all working together on this via email, it is kind of getting hard to think of things.
Thanks for your help!!!

Hi Keegan. Since your theme is baby animals, for your centerpiece I would buy 5 or 6 ( or how many you want) stuffed animals and place theme in the center of your table, and have the cake and rest of the food around the animals. I hope you like my idea. Good Luck to you

For a Baby Animals Theme for your shower. it's best to serve pigs in a blanket for appetizers and send your guest home with decorated bags of animal cookies!

I am doing a barnyard theme shower for my cousin since that is the theme of the nursery. I'll be making cupcakes and decorating them as animals, like yellow for chicks, black and white cows, pink pigs, and white sheep. Use black frosting for faces, orange gumdrops for chick beaks, coconut for sheep, etc. You could also play a game where people have to match the animal with the baby animal name, like a kangaroo kid is a joey, a baby dog is a puppy, etc.
