I am having a "sprinkle" for a friend who is adopting a little girl from China. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to decorate for this. Thanks

I've learned that baby showers are not traditional part of the Asian Culture, however they do have "coming out" parties. A great site to check this out and they provide some fun decorating ideas is myasianheritage.com. I wish you and your friend well.

Chinese take out boxes filled with colored balloons or flowers for centerpieces .... cake shaped like a chinese takeout box with baby items coming out of it like a diaper bag ....
I am doing one and I bought my take out boxes at BIG LOTS and they have pink and brown and green dots on them .... I have looked on birthday direct and found the jungle queen plates and napkins that coordinate with the table decor I have. My cake is going to be a square bottom, round top with a chinese take out box shaped box on top .... The round cake will have pink and brown and green polka dots and the base color be white. The square cake will be pink and brown stripes. I am melting different candy bars in 8 diapers and letting the quest guess which candy bar is in the "poopy" diaper. My prizes are ceramic take out box I also found at BIG LOTS I will fill with candy.
