Wow, you've touched a real sensitive subject here! And coming from experience, I wouldn't want to have toddlers or small children at my shower if I was hosting one either. It is about the mommy-to-be and not about how cute the other children are or how ill-behaved.
After all, how many days does a mom get to be with all their friends and family all at once without outside distractions?

wow i agree could you tell the whole world! quite complaining and enjoy the afternoon without your child, let dad take them for the day.

It's so sad that people can't respect the host n mother to be wishes, no matter how well matter your child are, we all no kids gets restless and start crying, so why every one is forcus on your child they have forgotten about the shower. Again either you can come or you can't grow up peeple and stop taking it so personally. My question is would you bring your kids to a formal dance or a meeting or to work . the answer is no so there you go some places you just can bring your kids simple. I am one people do put alot time into planning its sad when some can't respect that it your day your way.
