I am also trying to do this theme for my daughter's shower at the end of June.
There are some ideas online, I though using paper bags rolled tightly to resemble vines and adding construction paper leaves and artificial flowers was cute. I found a website with 15 inch monkey stuffed animals that I will hang off the vines. Plain bright green table clothes, with green, cream and tan balloons. You can buy safari or jungle theme plates and balloons as well. I am putting jungle stuffed animals on the tables, holding either balloons or a vase of flowers I havent decide which yet.
I saw some jungle soap favors online, also candles with jungle theme.
Hope these ideas help.

Oriental Trading Company has the jungle animals. A friend us them with the diaper cake, she had the jungle baby quilt hanging from the clothes-line the animal print balloons, table cover and ribbons.

I just went to a baby shower that had the jungle theme. For one of the games they had a list of adult jungle animals, and at the bottom they had a list of the names of the babies. For example, an adult animal Cow, and they would have to match it with the baby animal...calf. They set a timer and of course the person who matched to most correct won! Another game we played is they passed out a sheet that had the alphabet listed and 2 spaces next to it. They set the timer and you had to write down 2 animals for each letter, if they didn't have 2 then they couldn't count it at the end. Like for the letter A you could put Alligator & Ant. Its a lot harder than it seems. Hope this helps!

I too am having a shower with jungle animal theme for my daughter-in-law. I wrapped square empty cake boxes with pretty yellow baby animal print paper and pretty yellow satin ribbon in the center I fastened a 16" jungle animal (yellow lion, pink hippo, green giraffe, blue rhino, from JC Penney infant toy dept 9.99ea) then I am tying a balloon bouquet around them to add height.

I'm hosting a jungle theme baby shower for my daughter next
week. The menu for the shower is Monkey bread, tropical jungle fruit
platter (mango, pineapple, bananas, etc.), veggie tray, coconut shrimp
and chicken with a mango sauce and a pineapple sauce, coconut
macaroons, and cupcake trees with chocolate jungle animals on top.
The favors are homemade animal crackers.

You can get inexpensive jungle animal figurenes at Wal Mart. Sizes for cakes or cupcakes and table decorations as well. I paid $1.99 for a pack of 20. Also you can get the 6inch ones for .88 cents!

first of all all of your ideas are wonderful!! I have a different kind of question for you.. my son and his fiance won't be married before the shower and the birth because of insurance difficulties.. so we (family) have decided to do a family oriented shower.. (with daddies and probably a few small children) kind of a welcome to our family kind of party.. I just don't know how to word the invites or have any good ideas for the party.. besides food !! I like the Jungle theme because that is what they are choosing for the room decor and I think this would be cute with the family any ideas for wording the invites or anything else would be very welcome!!

I am hosting a Jungle Themed Shower in a few months. I got mostly everything planned except for the favors. I need help with what I could use. I want something creative. My limit is $20 for about 45 - 55 guests. I don't want anything soo cheap such as candy favors, or any edible favors. I want something that the guests could use over time such as a candle. I searched online for many hours and (1) I can't find anything to go along with the theme, and (2) everything is so expensive. Do you have any ideas of what I could use. What did you use as your favors? Do you know of any stores that offer a selection of great baby shower items that may not be found online? Thanks-
