Hi I'm looking for a poem to put in a invitation. I've seen it before, it's written as if the baby was writing it asking for a book instead of a card. Do you know it or have any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
I am looking for a poem to include in the invitation asking people to bring a bib or onsie for the baby to hang on the clothes line.
Thank you so much!

I am trying to put together a poem for a babyshower. I am going to hang a clothes line and I would like people to bring a bib, washcloth, onsie or socks. I am trying to come up with a catchy poem to add to the invitation. Any help would be great! Thanks

I am having a baby shower at work and I need a poem. I am planning on having lotto tickets and if you make a donation, not much, then you get a lotto ticket and at the end of the shower, we will draw a winner.

I am attending a baby shower for my niece. We are planning to hang all sorts of clothes on a clothesline. I was wondering if there was a specific poem that is said as the mother is pulling the string as she is taking out the items on the clothesline. Can you please let meknow. Thank you

Hi kelley,

jill - the poem lady here. I would be happy to help. How many lines do you want it to be? What exactly would you like to say?

Please help, I am having a baby shower for my daughter. My grandmother (her great grandma) crochet'd an afghan and gave to me when my children were born. She has since passed (within the last 2 years) but she was the world to my daughter. I would now like to pass that afghan on to her with a poem of wording that it was made by her great grandma. I am also making her a new afghan so if you wanna incorporate them both that would be fine, or, i can give them seperately and i really don't need one for mine. I would just like to have that "special wording" to present her with grandmas afghan. She will be soo touched.

jill - the poem lady here.

Hi all,

I have not been on the boards in a long time as I have been very busy with work. Babyshower 101 has been sending lots of requests (especially for the free advice jar poem which I am happy to send). Many of you are requesting custom poems which take more time. I want to get to all your poems, but time does not allow me to do everyone's. So that I can get to those who really NEED it - I will be taking poem orders for the next 4 weeks and doing them for $10 each (normally $40). That way, if someone really wants it they can jump to the front of the line. If you want the Babyshower 101 discount, when you order the poem from www. thepoemlady.com - put the word 101 somewhere in your order and I will know that means you are requesting the discount. I will do the orders as I receive them Hope this helps.

Hello Poem Lady. I need a poem for a baby shower. We would like all the guests to write words of wisdom in raising a little girl on a card. Can you come up with something cute for Jim and Renee?
