My mother-in-law is throwing me and my sister-in-law a double baby shower. We all think it is a great idea, but no one is sure how to handle the invitations. Does anyone have any suggestions? There will be a handful of guests that will only be there for me or for my sister-in-law, but the rest of the guests will be family that will be there for both of us. I would appreciate any suggestions on wording for the invitations. We want everyone to know that they are coming to a double shower; however, we do not want them to feel obligated to buy a gift for someone they do not know.

my sister in law is planning a double shower for me & my sister. We are planning to give out invit. with both names on them to our family, but we are giving out invit. with just one name to co workers etc. You could just make sure and tell everyone that it's a double shower and they are not obligated to buy two gifts
