okay I don't know if this is something you'd be interested in but I'm having one in a couple of weeks and I'm going to buy a tablecloth and glitter pen or what not and put the baby's name and have all guests sign and wish well and give to the mommy-to-be ....ahhhh....now help me out ....what about gifts for the winners of the game.

Choose her favorite childhood book! You could also have guests bring a book for her baby's library as a gift!

My family and I did frames on two separate showers. The first frames we did were from my cousin, daughter, and stepdaughter and myself. We purchased solid oval frames from Hobby Lobby. I purchased baby scrapbooking appliques or stickers and 4 colors of paint which were Classic Winnie the Pooh colors. We each painted our frame, decorated it with the scrapbooking stickers by glueing on, and we each somehow personalized our frame. My daughter knows Chinese, so she painted some words to the baby in Chinese on her frame. Just something so it was more personal. After they were decorated, we sprayed them with glitter and a final gloss coat. They turned out really great and the mom-to-be and dad-to-be loved them. They hung them together in the nursery and they looked great.
The second frames we did as a family were actual pictures frames. Again from Hobby Lobby. These were painted this time with regular Winnie the Pooh colors, decorated with Pooh stickers by each person however they wanted and then pictures were taken to put into the frames for the baby nursery. Was great for me being Grandma because the mom-to-be lives further away and since I wouldn't be able to see the baby as often, we (grandpa) went and had a picture made together to put in the frame. That way, as the baby gets older, hopefully she can relate to us from that picture too.
Lots of fun doing this. It was nice to do something like this that was a little more personal and definitely different. One thing we all added on the back of these frames was the date we completed ours, who the frame was to, and who the frame was from.
