My mom wants to throw me a baby shower, but insists that it MUST be at my house. Is it okay to have a shower at your house if you aren't hosting?
The problem with my mom hosting the shower at my house is that my house is way too small to accommodate the 20 or so people she plans to invite (plus- I will most likely have to prepare everything, rearrange my whole downstairs, borrow chairs from my mother in law.... and it will make me a nervous wreck). My mom says she can't host it at her home because she has even less space. My mother in law has an enormous home and I'm sure would be glad to co-host the shower...would it be rude to ask her? Help!
