I need help coming up with a poem for the directions of a game we plan on playing at a Dr Seuss-themed baby shower. The game is one where everyone at the shower gets one item (we haven't decided on this yet). You cannot be caught saying the word, "baby", or whoever catches you gets your item (along with any you have collected from others), and vise-versa, if you catch anyone saying the word, "baby", you get all of that person's items. The person at the end with the most items collected, wins!
Because of the theme of this shower, it would be nice to have these directions in poem form.
Thanks!

I am throwing a shower for my sister-in-law with a Dr Seuss theme also. My sister and idea are trying to come up with a poem for the favors we are giving. I saw your post and thought I might hep. Here is an idea that you can work off of (very ruff draft):
Our next game is fun all the same.
Here is a ___ guard it great care.
This ___ is special, you don’t want to share.
For the point, yes the point, collect all you can claim.
To collect you must catch a fellow guest
In the act of speaking baby, so do your best
Be sure when you speak, speak with care and great tact.
Think not baby, so as not to be attacked.
For when you say baby, your ___ you will loose.
Then when games over we’ll call a truce.
The one with the most ____ will cry out with a boast
I have won yes I have won lets all make a toast
And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed!
If you will remember baby not to yabber

jill -the poem lady here. The item is usually a safety pin and people pin them on themselves as they collect them (it goes along with a diaper theme).
I can come up with a Dr. Seuss style set of instructions for you. Feel free to contact me if you are interested. The poem is not very expensive and I can have a first draft for you by Monday. Let me know your thoughts.
